Dan Moorcroft

Dan is co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of QMR, where he manages the company’s operations and sets the strategic vision for the company. Dan is actively involved in the community, serving as Chair of the University of Ottawa Telfer School of Management Dean's Advisory Board. He also served as chairman of the board for the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce in 2009, and in numerous other capacities with organizations such as the Community Foundation of Ottawa, The Ottawa Partnership for the City of Ottawa, among others. Recognized as a leader in his field in the National Capital Region, Dan is a long-serving member of the Government Temporary Help Services Advisory Committee (GTHSAC) managed by PSPC to develop approaches to government professional services acquisition capabilities. Dan is a 2006 recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award and is the University of Ottawa’s School Of Management Young Achiever Award recipient for 2006. Prior to founding QMR, he worked as a strategic corporate alliance director for Nortel Networks, as well as a trade commissioner in Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Dan holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Carleton University.

Kristina Kanjilal joins QMR with over 15 years’ experience in business development for professional services and management consulting companies. Prior to QMR, Kristina was Director and Business Development Manager for SOMOS Consulting Group, where her customer focus and leadership skills were instrumental in driving sales and managing and growing some of the firm’s largest client accounts. Kristina also worked as a Consultant for KPMG LLP providing assistance to public and private sector clients on projects ranging from Business Process Improvement, Human Resources Management, Executive Search, and Program Evaluation. Evelyn Speers

Scott Kelland

Scott is a former computer programmer and Industrial Engineering Technologist, with responsibility for a number of performance measurement and business process re-engineering projects at a large Crown Corporation. He also has experience in plant operations with responsibility for monitoring performance data. As an independent management consultant, Scott has been involved in Change Initiatives in a number of federal government departments and agencies. He's led more than a dozen Performance Measurement projects in a variety of Public Sector organizations, working with Federal, Municipal and Non-Governmental Agencies. Scott has developed and presented seminar and training materials on Performance Improvement, Process Mapping and Analysis, and Team Building, in addition to researching and co‑authoring the University of Ottawa Executive MBA course on Reengineering and Change Management in the Public Sector. John Harrison

John Harrison is the Results-Based Management (RBM) Practice Leader for QMR Consulting. John is a leader in the North American consulting community in assisting public sector clients with the implementation of results-based management best practices. He uses an integrated management frameworks methodology that links strategic and business planning, cost management, performance measurement, risk management and program evaluation to assist public sector organizations nationally and internationally. Of particular interest is the groundbreaking consulting work that he and his colleagues have carried out in relation to the Program Alignment Architecture/ Management, Resources and Results Structure and the Management Accountability Framework for a number of federal government departments and agencies.
In addition to practice engagements, John annually delivers between 75 and 100 days of workshops and presentations on strategic and business planning, performance measurement, risk management and cost management. He is a frequently invited guest speaker at conferences and workshops and has trained thousands of public sector executives, managers and practitioners in performance measurement and results-based management principles, using a combination of sound theory and practical exercises.
John has written a number of articles and white papers on results-based management principles and practices, including governance and accountability, and is a former member of the board of Performance and Planning Exchange, a Canadian-based international centre of excellence for learning, sharing and developing expertise in performance and planning - including its measurement, implementation, public reporting and management. He is a also a co-founder of Canadian Government Executive and Vanguard magazines

Elizabeth joined QMR in 2005 as the Finance Administrator responsible for QMR's day-to-day financial activities. Prior to joining QMR, she worked for over 17 years at the regional accounting office for a major retail outlet. In this role she was responsible for financial and reporting issues for the outlets within the Eastern Ontario region. Elizabeth has a bachelor's degree in economics from university in Warsaw, Poland.
